Attention all Black high school seniors pursuing higher education: the African American Day Parade (AADP) is proud to offer the Abe & Lucinda Snyder Scholarship, and we want you to apply today! The scholarship fund is designed to empower Black youth with economic resources for higher education, and we can’t wait to see the impact our scholarship will have on the lives of our future leaders.
To be eligible for the scholarship, you must Complete this Scholarship Application.
Included in the application in a section where you must answer one of the following questions in 250 words or less:
• How has your Black experience shaped who you are today?
• Our mission at AADP is to highlight Black culture, heritage, and unity. How do you demonstrate this in your community?
• How have you prepared to obtain your aspirations? How will this scholarship help with that?
We will be selecting recipients primarily based on their response to one of these questions, so make sure to put your best foot forward in your essay. The deadline to apply is June 14, 2023, so don’t hesitate to apply today.
